It really wasn't that "manic" around here today, I just had that song playing in my head. I got a few things done, a few things packaged and mailed and a few orders filled for tomorrow's mailing. All in all, I just hung out with Ozzy & Lita and listened to the rain *Yay* it finally rained a little bit today. And boy are the frogs & crickets happy. It's almost deafening outside. We have a ditch behind our house and that's where all the little critters gather at night to sing "love songs". Speaking of "love songs", I caught these two love birds at it this afternoon. They were just right out on the bricks in front of everybody. That's what's so great about being an animal, you can be an exhibitionist and not get arrested:
They both just sat there while I took pictures of them. They usually run when they see me coming with the camera. I guess they are used to seeing me by now ~ they should be. The little bird is still in his nest. Apparently his Mom & Dad sent some teachers today to try and get him to fly. There were about 10 little sparrows flying all around the birdhouse and chirping and flapping their wings. I watched them for a bit, but then it started raining, so I guess they'll try again tomorrow. I just love all of my little "critters". I feel like they are all my personal friends. That's why I loved my choice for "picture of the day". I hope you enjoy it, as well.
