My 1700th Customer & A New Journey

I can't hardly believe that I'm almost up to 1700 sales on Etsy. So to celebrate, if you are reading this blog and want some free goodies, just be my 17ooth customer. You'll be glad you were, I promise!

Well, it's official! Wayne is retiring at the end of October and hopefully we will begin our new journey & our new life in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina {Land of Waterfalls} in early November. So to celebrate that, just be the first person to comment on this blog post and you will receive this awesome little "Bird Girl Journey" necklace for "free, free, free" ~ no strings attached.

Well my Sister & My Mother are starting to freak out on me about moving. My Sister sent me an e-mail last night and attached this video:

I really love the song {and I hate Country Music}. It was the first time I had heard it. So, I hope you enjoy it and are having a great week! I'm off to go update a website that I designed for an office and train somebody over there how to update their pages, because "I'm moving outta here". Happy Thursday!

Love & peace ~ Kathy

for the harmony is that which will bring you happiness
and the melody is the voice of your true spirit." ~ Deanna Beisser

  3. I know your family is going to miss you as you will them. It's not the same as having them right there closeby, your support group and fan club, your people. I know I miss my family and they're only 2 1/2 hours away. I used to live 5-6 hours away and couldn't take it. I lived around DC in Northern Virginia and also in Atlanta. Had to move closer so I picked Charlotte. Now I want to be even closer, I want to be there, at 'home', in the mountains where they are. I miss my mom.
By the way, I used to hate country music too. But if you listen to some of it, it's really not all bad. I really like Keith Urban and the Dixie Chicks. There are quite a few who are tolerable, even good. Country music isn't what it used to be. It ain't all George Jones now!

  4. Hey, I love George Jones! It's the new country music that I can't stand. :)

Glad to hear that you're finally moving. And you might be settled for the holiday season too?!
