Nuff Said!

I'm not so sure about that! I'm still trying to figure out my "gifts". I do know that all I want to do is make stuff most of the time. Sometimes I get so bogged down with things I want to make that I just sit there and stare at my desk, while my mind races. My mind goes and goes and never stops. I would love to take the time to read a book sometimes, but every time I start one I can't concentrate on the words because my brain is "making stuff". It drives me crazy! I wish my brain could be more like a faucet and I could just turn off one side of it when the other side wants to be on. But, I guess it would never work that way. So I'll continue to try and read, while another part of my brain is making something and then, of course, I always have that constant record player going in there, no matter what else I'm doing. For instance, right now it's playing "Stop Dragging My Heart Around" by Tom Petty. And I'm typing this and the making stuff part has already made a necklace and 2 pair of earrings that I'll need to hurry and trace out, so I won't forget when I get ready to make them later this morning. And then I'm thinking about what a nice day it would be to take a hike! But, before I do that, I have to share this awesome little bracelet that I made yesterday:

I named it "Tree Hugger" – I just love it! I got these awesome Cultured Salt Water Akoya Pearls that are just gorgeous! I paired those up with these beautiful Turquoise Stones and then the precious little pewter "Tree Of Life" charm. Very earthy & "organic" – seems like "organic" is the "new black" these days. I made a few other new things for the shop, so check them out when you get a chance.

Before I go, I just have to rave about this awesome Musk Cologne from Kiehl's. I remember years ago a friend of mine's Mom wore this stuff and I always thought she smelled so good. I had totally forgotten about it until I saw it in one of my magazines. So, I promptly ordered myself a bottle {it's okay to buy pretty stuff for yourself once in a while – right}. I couldn't wait to spray some on when it got here. It's just so wonderful:

I remember my friend's Mom would sometimes let us spray on just a little bit, because it was "big girl" stuff. So now I can enjoy it even more, since not only does it bring back some frolics of childhood innocence memories, I feel a little "sneaky" because I'm wearing "big girl" stuff. Next time you want to treat yourself, you should try some of this ~ I promise you will love it!

Happy Sunday!!! Don't forget to wear green tomorrow, or you might get pinched…

Xxoo & peace always ~ Kathy
