Spring Forward…..

You know, I'm truly blessed ~ this little saying is exactly how I am living my life right now {with the exception of a full moon every night, which would be way to much to ask for, anyway}. This will be our first "Spring" here in North Carolina and I can't wait to see what all blooms in my yard. I awoke today to this happy little fellow ~ it seems as though they grow wild around here! They are every where. I have them all over this place, but this was the first one to bloom:

My whole yard is full of little flowers & plants just bursting at the seams with surprises. I can't wait to share them with you. I was just feeling so "Springish" today, even though we had snow flurries this morning, which melted quite promptly anyway. I made this beautiful little necklace to celebrate Spring. I named it "Flower Child", as you can probably guess why, without me having to explain it much:

And I just have to write something about my new shoes! I'm loving them so much. They are a must have for the Mountains & Rivers around here. {Something you didn't know about me ~ when I was little and my Mom got me new shoes, I would sleep with them – not on, just still in the box, right next to my pillow, like a teddy bear, or something ~ I know, it's a sickness, but what can I say}. Anyway, I lucked out on these. They were last year's "model" (which is so silly to me since they all look the same) and they were 60% off! I figured there was no way they had my size {6.5} left, since that size usually sells out first. But actually, that was the only size & ONLY pair they had left! Can you believe such luck! And so I managed to convince myself {and Wayne, too!} that it was "meant to be":

***Just so you know*** ~ I put a link up on the top left side of my blog {right underneath my profile} to the "Friday Give Away" post. What I'm going to do is draw the number every Friday morning and then post the name of the winner & the next Friday's give away on that post. Please let me know if you have any questions about it. Good luck to everybody that leaves me comments & thank you so much for being so awesome!

Tomorrow I'm reviewing some "Dry Conditioning Shampoo" that I just got from Sephora {I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but I'll let you know how it works}. We are going to dinner tonight with some friends and I'm going to have an almost to die for "Crab Cake Salad". Yummy! I'll take pictures and you can salivate over it while you read my next post. Have a wonderful evening & don't forget to "Spring Forward" tomorrow.

Xxoo & peace always ~ Kathy
