A pair of Carolina Wrens built a nest in an old birdhouse that my daddy made for me years ago. I can hear the babies peeping, but haven't been able to see them yet. So cute!!

The Carolina Wren is my favorite bird. If you listen carefully to its song, it sounds like it's singing, "you're pretty, you're pretty, you're pretty" so even on the days when I feel unpretty and lousy, the Carolina Wren always makes me feel much better!
