Funny Farm Animal Friday...

These cows were so funny!  We ran across them on our hike yesterday, after the monsoon.  In fact, this little guy still had wet whiskers:
The sky looked a little dark when we started out, but Wayne had checked the radar and there was nothing on it even close to our area, so we headed off.  Well, low and behold, about 15 minutes into our hike, the bottom fell out of the sky and it started pouring down rain, thundering and lightening and the wind was blowing like crazy.  Obviously, a big storm developed right over our heads.  We ran and took shelter in a little barn that housed seven little goats.  We hung out with the goats for about an hour before the rain finally let up enough for us to  head back to the car.  Those little goats were terrified of the lightening and thunder, so I think we all gave each other comfort:
and this little guy was hiliarious ~ he kept butting all of the "women" out of his way, just so he could come see what Wayne and I were up to.  Once he realized we didn't have anything for him [other than some head scratches], he headed back to his corner and laid down:
You never know what you can find on a rainy day, if you just look hard enough.  Life is good!!

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!!
