Happy Saturday!
Hello, hello! We are still at the beach ~ having a wonderful time and enjoying the visit with our friends. My Sister & her boyfriend are coming down today to spend a couple of days with us, too. I can't wait to see her! The weather has been a little grim, sorta overcast & muggy, but it made great weather for a little shopping. Check out this oven mitt:Now is this the silliest thing you ever saw! It is so uncomfortable on your hand. I'm sure I would drop something trying to use it. I just don't get the whole "finger" separation thing??? Very strange. I guess that's why it was on clearance @ "Tuesday Morning". But our real treat of the day was the "Grits à Ya Ya" @ "The Fish House" in Pensacola. It's the best stuff I have ever put in my mouth {honest}. Yummmmmmmmmmm:
And now the chef, Jim Shirley, has a cook book out called "Good Grits" with the recipe! Now, I read over the recipe and they left out the "shredded, oven baked sweet potatoes" that are piled on the top! I'm going to try it when I get back home, but I'm sure I can never make it taste the same! Maybe if I used that mitt........
Have a great weekend!!!

Whimsical Art, Giant Bubbles & Llamas...
These little guys were so much fun! I think there were about 8 or 10 of them {total} and they just walked around and visited everyone all day @ the "Whimsical Art Show". The kids & dogs loved them! They were really sweet and love getting "hugs" ~ this little guy's name is "Rockstar".And these giant bubbles were awesome! But the real *hit* of the day were these guys:"The Mason Jar Drinkers" ~ a delightful group of young men from Brevard College that were just amazing & so much fun to listen to. The weather was perfect {a little chilly, but perfect none the less}. There were lots of shoppers, lots of wonderful art & great food! Wayne and I were serving "Chicken & Sausage Gumbo" {that I got up and made a huge pot of @ 7:oo yesterday morning}, which was eaten up within a couple of hours and everybody loved it! So, I'm glad I stayed home for a few extra days to do this show and I can't wait to do it again next year! And a huge *thanks* to Ms. Shannon Whitworth for making it all possible ~ Thank you, Shannon!
I'm off to fill some orders and start packing up for the beach. Have a happy Sunday!

There's "Sneaux" in Louisiana!!!
"Mike The Tiger" ~ the "L.S.U." mascot! This picture {courtesy of my sister's e-mail & thank you to whomever took it} is of him in his pen this morning! Can you believe it! Next thing you know Sarah Palin will want to ship all of the "endangered Polar Bears" to Louisiana! At least the ones she knows about! So much for global warming, Al ~ go put a "tiger in your tank"! Anyhoo, these earrings were made to honor the tiger & the Louisiana Snow:I named them "Snow Tiger". And here are a few other new little goodies I made today {thanks to the rainy, dreary weather}. But I think bad weather makes me more creative because I'm not hurrying to be outside. These are called "Sugar-n-Spice" ~ you know, something a little "Christmassy"And then this awesome necklace I named "Branch Out" ~ I just love it! I think it's right up there with one of my most favorite EVER creations ~ the little glass leaves are just gorgeous.
Hope you are staying warm & dry ~ Happy Thursday!!

Music Monday & Whimsical Women...
Music Monday was at our house this past Monday!!! We had about 20 people show up. But about 1/2 way through the night I got really, really sick. I think I ate some bad chicken, or something. I ended up going to bed and leaving everybody playing music in my living room. And poor Wayne had to clean up all the mess afterwards. But everybody had a really good time and the music made me sleep better {between trips to the bathroom}. My stomach is still not quite right. I think I had a touch of salmonella! Now I'm afraid to eat chicken.
...hee hee - Ozzy & Lita's "Halloween avatar" ~ for some reason the "chicken" made me think of it and laugh. So tonight I'm just going to eat some soup, or something. I have to get better for the "Whimsical Women" Art Show/Sale this Saturday, hosted by Shannon Whitworth!!! I hope we have a good turn out. The weather is supposed to be nice, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And then next Tuesday, we are headed to the beach for a week of "R & R" ~ I can't wait!!!
Here's one new thing I've made ~ I really love it, too! The Chalcedony Druzy is just awesome! And, of course, it's for sale in the shop if you feel you must have it! There won't be another one like it, I promise :)

Sneak Preview...
Our Christmas card I made for this year! I really like how it turned out. I'm having them printed and them mailing them in square envelopes. They should be really cute! And, for some "very special" little peeps, you'll be getting one of these:It's a "limited edition" Christmas card by none other than Ms. Emily Martin!
Happy Monday!!! Look what was outside my window today:"booshie" {a word that my mother used and my Sister and I have always used for cold} ~ yes, it's "sneaux" and it's still fluttering around out there and will be most of the evening. So, I'm going to make me some hot tea and snuggle up by the fire.
