We had such a great time last night at the Porter Center at Brevard College.  The beautiful and multi-talented Ms. Shannon Whitworth had a benefit concert for the new animal shelter Transylvania County is trying to raise money for.  So far, just since August, they have raised over $200,000!!!  Hooray for the animals, the people and the new shelter!  Looks like groundbreaking will begin soon ~ hopefully before the Summer!!

Whimsical Art, Giant Bubbles & Llamas...

These little guys were so much fun! I think there were about 8 or 10 of them {total} and they just walked around and visited everyone all day @ the "Whimsical Art Show". The kids & dogs loved them! They were really sweet and love getting "hugs" ~ this little guy's name is "Rockstar".And these giant bubbles were awesome! But the real *hit* of the day were these guys:"The Mason Jar Drinkers" ~ a delightful group of young men from Brevard College that were just amazing & so much fun to listen to. The weather was perfect {a little chilly, but perfect none the less}. There were lots of shoppers, lots of wonderful art & great food! Wayne and I were serving "Chicken & Sausage Gumbo" {that I got up and made a huge pot of @ 7:oo yesterday morning}, which was eaten up within a couple of hours and everybody loved it! So, I'm glad I stayed home for a few extra days to do this show and I can't wait to do it again next year! And a huge *thanks* to Ms. Shannon Whitworth for making it all possible ~ Thank you, Shannon!

I'm off to fill some orders and start packing up for the beach. Have a happy Sunday!

Happy Fall!!!

Ahhhh ~ the crispness in the air just makes you want to take the deepest breath ever! This will be our last "unseen" month up here and we are looking forward to it so much! It's hard to believe that we've been up here for almost a whole year already. Time flies ~

This awesome little necklace was inspired by Autumn ~ it's named "Harvest Moon" and is for sale in the shop. I also made some cute, cute, cute little Halloween pendants:
this one's my favorite ~ it's called "dancing with the devils" and was inspired by "Shannon Whitworth's" new song "No Expectations" ~ listen to it when you get a chance ~ it's pretty awesome.

We have more house guests arriving tomorrow, so I need to get cleaning & cooking. Hope your Fall has started off great & have a Happy Friday!!!

This is a picture of a friend's daughter & little boy. I made this awesome little print with it today! I'm really getting back into my digital scrap-booking again. I just love the little birds!

And this is the "Saluda River" @ Jones Gap State Park ~ the print is for sale in my shop ~ I named it "Tranquility" ~ listen closely and you can hear the water trickling....

Happy Friday! We are going to the "Duck Pond @ Dusk" tonight to hear "Shannon Whitworth" ~ she is amazing.....check out her website and listen to some of her music ~ I promise you will love it! And lucky for me, she loves my jewelry :) And then tomorrow is the "Mountain Song Festival" here in Brevard @ the"Brevard Music Center". So, I'll be sure & take plenty of pictures and blog about both this weekend!
