Brrrrr...it sure has been a cold week! Everything is covered in a layer of ice --- including the tiny buds on our Dogwood Trees, since they had anticipated [along with me] and early Spring. Instead, we woke up to snow flurries this morning:
But, instead of locking myself behind the doors and watching from the windows, fixing another pot of coffee and adding another layer of clothing to my growing bundled body, I ventured out and tried my macro lens on some fresh falling snowflakes! It may not be the best photo, but it's my very first capture of a real snowflake. It's hard to believe that each and every one of them are different and unique...just like us.
But, I guess the good thing about a prolonged Winter is the excuse to have comfort food every night for dinner! Like this yummy Shepherd's Pie I'll be making tonight...along with a big pot of sauteed Kale. My mouth is watering already!
Hope you are all staying safe and warm!
love and peace always --- Kathy
