Light, Love & A $50 Gift Certificate!!!

Hello hello!!!  Hope everybody is enjoying this gorgeous Spring weather!  I know I am.  Every chance I get, I'm out there with my camera.  People ask me, "so what do you do"...I just laugh and say, it depends on what day it is.  I'm a jewelry designer on days when it's raining or cold.  I'm a photographer on days when it's sunny and warm and I'm a scribbler at night, while I'm watching t.v.   This was my little drawing last night, while watching American Idol..I still love that show.  So many talented young people out there...makes my heart hopeful.  And who doesn't love Alice Cooper and Elephants!

So I just decided I'll be whatever I am...as long as my light is still shining bright.  Hope you can do the same!

 My sweet little Broc and a couple of his friends came to visit over the weekend!  Even though they didn't stay long, I got to hug his neck and tell him how much I love him.  And, as luck would have it, we found an adorable salamander in the herb garden...so cute!   But the cutest is this precious little donkey that Broc insisted was a unicorn in disguise...you never know!

New Stuff & Life Lessons.....

Hey Everybody! Hope you all had a great weekend {I know, it's Tuesday}. I've been on a roll making new stuff for the shop and just had to share these awesome bracelets:

And this cute little necklace:

I just love how they turned out ~ especially those bracelets. I dreamed about them Saturday Night {after a huge cup of "Sleepytime Tea"} and then woke up Sunday morning and cranked them out before I forgot how to make them. I love them all ~ 100% Cuteness, guaranteed!

We went over to Broc's new apartment Saturday afternoon. It's right smack in the middle of Downtown Baton Rouge {Spanishtown Road}. He is on a Mardi Gras parade route and there are thousands {literally} of beads hanging in all of the trees:

So now we have a place to go during Mardi Gras! I'm sure he will have a full house on Fat Tuesday. He just seems so happy and I'm so happy for him. I think he'll fit right in down there:
