Small treats...

Hey everybody!!  Hope you are all well and enjoying May!  After the "Big Love Fest" [which was most awesome, by the way], I took a little break.  The weather has been absolutely gorgeous around here and we have been taking full advantage of it.  On my birthday we went back to "Cove Creek" to see if the Pink Lady Slippers were blooming [like they usually are on my birthday] and sure enough ~ they were:

 And then we went back to "Cat Gap", another of my favorite places, and found this:

I had a wonderful birthday dinner/party with some awesome friends.  But the best gift I ever got was this:

My awesome husband ~ truly my soul mate and the best guy in the whole world!  What a wonderful birthday!!  But I haven't totally turned into a slacker...I have taken time to make a few new small treats for ya'll, like these:

Made with gorgeous faceted Aqua Blue Quartz Glass briolettes and appropriately named "Baby Blues".  They are for sale in the shop, if you want to see more photos and a full description of them. Although, I will be giving a pair away on Wednesday to one of you lucky readers!  All you have to do is leave a me a comment and tell me the best birthday gift you ever got!  I can't wait to read about it!!  Good luck in the drawing, Lita will be picking the winner!!

We're off to the Arboretum for the afternoon to see what's blooming!  There are still lots of wildflowers blooming and birds chirping.  As I type, there is a little chipmunk outside my window chipping away.  Those little guys sure can stir up a ruckus!  Have a wonderful day!!

Well, another round of visitors left this morning after a wonderful visit!
