Painting, Playing & Ponies....

The "Paint The Bus" party was awesome! The food was yummy & the music was wonderful. My "Garlic Mashed Potatos" from yesterday's post were awesome! They went really fast. I guess that's what happens when you take "comfort food" to a party. But the only thing I would change about this recipe is the Parmesan cheese ~ I think I'll leave it out next time. After the 85th taste test :), I decided I liked them lots better before adding the cheese. And, I used more garlic than called for, as well. But they were still very, very good ~:DOf course, nobody could top Suzanne's art work! And Raymond & Julie have several horses on their property, but this little fellow was hilarious ~ he had a semi-dreadlock hair-do and was always trying to eat my camera:But we all know, all play & no work makes us unproductive people, so today I need to do some work, but I did make this awesome necklace yesterday, along with a couple pair of earrings, so please do check out the shop when you get a chance:
Happy Sunday!!!

♥ & peace always ~ Kathy

  1. :) You can keep yer' sneaux :) we're doing just fine at 58deg!!!!

Shelly saw the poster of the little necklace I always wear that you made that has "Peace" on one side and "War is not healthy for Children and other living things" on the other. It was the "war is not healthy" poster he saw while watching some PBS show on the 60's the other night.

The new little moth pendant made me think of it...because I was wondering...um, is sauter polish-able? My little necklace could use a freshen up but I don't wanna ruin it :)
    Big love,

  2. Hey Girlie!!! You can probably just use a little polishing cloth and shine it up just fine! Yeah well, our "sneaux" didn't last very long and it warmed up quite nicely. Tell Shelly hello!!!!! Mark is on his way to New Orleans for a show this weekend, if you want to seek him out and see his work. I'm sure he probably has where he'll be on his "mySpace". Talk to you soon!!! Stay warm!!! :D

  3. Hey Kathy! Remember me... Tamara from Canada! How have you been? I've thought about you, have sent a few emails. I loved your Christmas newsletters. Your new home looks so wonderful! Last I heard you had a grandchild on the way.... how was that? Boy? Girl? I don't know if you remember our conversation when I was with you... but my husband's daughter finally did look him up, lives with us... and her 8 month old son. A busy life! I am in the process of getting my masters, won't be finished till 2010... (I'll be 50)... life is crazy busy. You're art is beautiful! Such a talented lady. Keep in touch..
