I went down to the farm yesterday to bring food scraps to these guys and came home with this:
A huge
goose egg! Now I know folks call it a
goose egg when you get a big knot on your head, but I can't imagine having a knot that even remotely resembles an actual goose egg! This thing is huge! And I was going to whip it up for breakfast, but I "chickened" out ~ lol. Has anybody ever eaten a goose egg? What do they taste like? Maybe I'll get braver as the day goes by and we'll have it for breakfast tomorrow...or dinner tonight.
So Wayne, Broc and I went on a hike up to
"Big Rock Trail" in
Dupont State Forest! It was a gorgeous day...actually the weather has been amazing! I really do hope that Winter has come to an end! When you are standing on the edge of Big Rock, you almost wish you had a giant balloon to float away on...well, PhotoShop can make that a reality! I love this photo! Had to share with ya'll!

Okay, so some of you probably think I'm "nuts" because Ozzy & Lita get treated more like children than dogs [just sometimes]. For their birthdays, I buy little cups of ice-cream for them and they just LOVE it!!! Lita's birthday was Friday and I think it was her best ever:
..that ice-cream made them sleep like little babies! They were in heaven...yes, life is really good for Ozzy & Lita!
It's finally warmed up around it and it's going to be a gorgeous day! We are headed up to "Big Rock Trail" for a great hike! I'll have more pictures later [of course].
It certainly seems so, at least! Where does the time go? The older I get the less time I have to do things I want/need to do! Like keeping up with my blog posts ~ sorry I've been such a slacker lately, but I promise to do better starting today! So this will be a rather short post, since I'm trying to get some new things made for the shop and to have with me tomorrow at the "Transylvania Tailgate Market". Tomorrow will be my first time setting up there and I hope to have a great turn out. If you live in Transylvania County, please come out to see me. But if you don't get by tomorrow, I'm planning on setting up there on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

This is from our hike this week up to "Big Rock" ~ it was awesome! We are going to try and go on a hike at least twice a week, since the weather is just gorgeous right now and before it gets to hot. Wayne is turning into quite the guide lately :)
