Think good thoughts....

Ah....I finished our taxes today ~ Yay ~ now I can relax, since we don't owe everything we own to the IRS! And tonight is "Music Monday", so we are getting ready to go have some fun. Before we leave though, I had to announce the winner of this week's give away! It's lucky #1, which is Anita! Congratulations Anita!!! Please send me an e-mail and give me your address, so I can send these awesome little earrings your way.I just had to share this gorgeous little necklace I made yesterday ~ it's in the shop, if you want to see more of it!

Thanks for reading my ramblings....be sure and check back this coming Wednesday {February 18th} to see what the next awesome give away will be! I promise you'll love it!

Happy Monday!!!
♥ & peace always ~ Kathy

P.S. This quote is for you, Jen ;)

  1. Love the new necklace and I wish our taxes were done...complicated mess really.
Thanks for quoting Laura Ingalls Wilder. I'm not sure if I ever told you, but I'm an Ingalls, my maiden name..Laura's grandfather and my grandfather's great-great-great grandfather were brothers...pretty cool.
    Have a great week.

  2. Did I ever tell you that I read ALL of those books! I still have them, actually. And duh, do you think I just guessed that you were related :) I'm not THAT good :) I wish!!! Our taxes are very complicated, too. It took me all day to do them, after we got everything in "order" ~ yuck! The part I hated the most was having to "Pay" for the freakin software! I mean, I think you should be able to file your taxes for free. Such aggravation ~ I need more wine! Oh, and I love you, Jen!!! Although, I was always "Mary" when my Sister and I played "Little House On The Prairie" :)

  3. We just need to meet in Mansfield, MO...at Rocky Ridge! I actually want to get to Independence and see the place there too.
You should try to find a copy of one of the books illustrated by Helen Sewell; the original illustrator. Her drawings are really wispy and light. My mom and I collect the Helen Sewells.
I was always Laura, since I was younger and had freckles and brown hair.
